What this site does not do
- No cookies, and so no cookie banner either.
- No analytics and no tracking scripts of any kind.
- No advertising.
- No forms, no comments, no sign-ups and no accounts.
- No personal information stored about you, because there is nothing here to collect it.
If we add visitor counts
We do not currently measure visitor numbers. If we ever add visitor counts, we will use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors. We will say so on this page, with the date it changed.
What our web host records
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare may keep standard technical records (for example, an IP address and the page requested) for security and reliability. We do not use those records to identify anyone.

Guides link to other websites, such as UCAS, Discover Uni and university pages. Once you follow a link, that website's own privacy policy applies.
Young readers
Many of our readers are 16 and 17 years old. That is why the site is built with no data collection at all: nothing to sign up for, nothing to fill in, and nothing stored about you.
